Elizabeth Hartwell married Abel Lent and lived on Lent's Hill in Conhocton. They had several children. Rachel Lent, one of the daughters, married William Rynders, now a citizen of Branchport. Rosetta, her sister, was wife of the late Caspar Hibbard, of Jerusalem. Another sister, Maria, who was a school teacher, married John Atwell and resides near Blood's Corners. After the death of his wife Elizabeth, Mr. Lent married Abigail Wilkinson, a daughter of Jepthah Wilkinson, and sister of Mrs. John Potter [Nancy Wilkinson], thus a cousin of his first wife.
